New Premises in London for Christie’s Education 40th Anniversary

04 Oct 2018

On Monday 17th September, we opened the doors of our new Christie’s Education premises in London for the new academic year, 40 years after the very first students began our inaugural course.

Over the summer our London faculty has relocated to 42 Portland Place, a Grade II* listed townhouse designed by the Adam brothers, which offers best-in-class facilities and a wonderful and inspiring environment for all students to begin their journey with us.

Our new London home is truly Christie’s in character, offering a unique learning environment with two floors of lecture and seminar rooms, cutting-edge facilities and a grand first floor piano nobile, which is intended to be used to develop extra-curricular events, such as symposia and discussion panels.

The story of Christie’s Education began on the 28 September 1978, when the first course opened in London for more than 70 students from countries around the world. Forty years later, Christie’s Education offers over 40 postgraduate and continuing education programmes in London, New York and Hong Kong, as well as online.

To mark the 40th anniversary of Christie’s Education, six well-known alumni reflect on their time as students, and how the experience has served them in their high-profile careers. You can read the article here.
