Overview
Overview
This programme series investigates how contemporary art rises to be the largest collecting category by market value. From postwar to ultra-contemporary, art historians will introduce the important art movements and leading artists of our time. Christie’s specialists will offer insights into collecting contemporary art, from blue chips artists to “red chip” emerging talents. The course offers an overview of the value creation mechanism that contributes to the value of the contemporary art today.
