Asia is home to the world's biggest number of billionaires in 2020, according to Forbes. China has been the world's second largest art market since recent years, contributing significantly to global dealer and auction sales, according to the Art Basel Report. Hong Kong has witnessed a booming art scene since the early 2000s, with blue chip international galleries opening spaces and auction houses bringing top tier western masterpieces to meet the demand for fine art in Asia.

Christie’s Education’s Insights from Collectors in Asia takes you to meet some of the notable collectors and market specialists in Asia. Through talks and conversations, they will share their collecting journey, how they are forming their collections, as well as their vision for supporting the development of contemporary art in Asia. Together with dealers and auction houses, they are actively contributing to the Asian art ecology, become tastemakers for global contemporary art.
