The number of participants vary depending on the course however many of the courses fill up quickly. We recommend you register for our short courses early to secure your place.
Our short courses are currently conducted exclusively via the online platform Zoom. We will update our students when this changes. 
Christie's Education does not normally provide a certificate at the end of your course unless you have enrolled and completed one of our full certificate courses. In other instances, we can provide you with a letter of attendance.

Terms and Conditions:
Fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. Enrolment is on a strictly first come first served basis. It is not possible to replace individual sessions that you are unable to attend with sessions on a future course. Christie's Education reserves the right to alter the content and dates of all courses and to cancel advertised courses as a result of circumstances beyond its control. Notice of course cancellation will be received two weeks prior to the course starting date. Should any student who has enrolled on a course find that they need to withdraw or transfer to a different course, please see below the details of the notice required for refunds and transfers.

Transfer: Administration fee equal to 10% of the course fee

Yes, the lecturer will provide a bibliography. It is at the lecturer’s discretion as to whether they will provide further materials. 
The online courses are offered to anyone who is over the age of 18.

For all self-directed courses, the entire programme is available to you for 12 weeks after enrolment to facilitate your learning.

Most of our lectures will be recorded. A private link to each lecture will be made available to students for 48 hours after the lecture has finished. On occasion, some lectures may not be recorded. Please check the course page online or contact us to confirm this. 

Courses are offered in English. Some courses have Chinese subtitles or voiceover. Where this is available it is highlighted in the individual course page. Please refer to the individual course for more details. All courses also have closed-caption subtitles in English.

There are no formal language requirements however it will be expected of you to have a good comprehension of the language the course is delivered in.

Some of Christie’s Education online courses are CPD accredited. Our short virtual courses are not accredited.  
There are no prerequisites for taking any of our online courses. Courses are structured by our expert educators to provide students with all they require to rigorously develop their understanding of the field of study.

All courses are pre-recorded. All self-directed courses make the entire programme available for 12 weeks after enrolment to facilitate your self-guided journey.

We do not usually conduct a formal assessment for students. However, for some of our courses, this is optional. Please refer to the course page or contact us for further information. 

All of the online courses have closed-caption subtitles in English. This can be accessed by selecting captions in the video window within the LearnWorlds platform.

Self-directed courses are not assessed.
Online courses are not accredited and do not carry credits that can be carried over to other programmes.
Students will receive a certificate of completion following their successful completion of all modules on their online course.
The time commitment varies depending on the course being studied, and each course includes expected study time in its description. The commitment to study can range between two and five hours. Students who wish to study more intensively will find they are able to spend many hours a week with the course.

Should any student who has enrolled in a course find that they need to withdraw, they can do so, and in the circumstances set out below they shall be entitled to a refund.  Further detail and information on  your rights to withdraw from the courses and receive a refund, and how to exercise them, are set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Yes, our courses can be viewed on mobile devices via LearnWorlds.
You will be enrolled into the course immediately on registration. The course will be available to you for 12 weeks after enrolment to facilitate your self-directed learning.

The online course is facilitated through a learning management system. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to Wi-Fi, to be able to participate in the course. The basic system requirements are as follows:

The online learning experience is best viewed at a minimum of 800x600, which is the average size of a notebook computer.

Although the course should be available to all updated browsers, there have been reported issues experienced when browsing with Internet Explorer and we would recommend an alternative browser.
