Overview
Digital art has been around since the 60s, but its popularity and huge surge in interest is just beginning in Asia, with Christie’s sale of Beeple’s NFT work “Everydays: The First 5000 Days”.
In response to the increase in NFT works, transactions and interest in digital art, Christie’s Education, together with Christie’s Taipei office is delighted to present “Digital Art and the Revolution of Collecting”, a complimentary series of discussions from curator Sean Hu, NFT collector, and Next & Nexus Law Office Founding Attorney Liying Wang, together with global art market columnist Xao-E.
Through these conversations, participants will:
- Deepen their knowledge in the development of creating art using new media and technology
- Learn firsthand how collectors with a focus on NFTs are developing this into a new collecting category
